I found this fun tutorial on SplitcoastStampers.com (link HERE) and we used it for our March Card Challenge. I'll show you my card, and those from two of my stamping friends. I thought the tutorial was a little complicated, so I used Dawn Griffith's version, which you can find on her YouTube HERE).
I used the lovely stamp set from Sale-A-Bration called Friendly Hello, and the matching paper, also from Sale-A-Bration. My card base is Pool Party, with Basic White Cardstock for the stamped panels.
To create this card, start with a piece of 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Designer Paper (it's thinner than Card Stock and makes the finished card less bulky) and score it at 1,2,3 and 4 inches. This will make the center "Tower", and then your 4 panels of cardstock (4 1/4 x 2 3/4 each) will attach to each side of the tower.
These cards will still fold flat and fit in a standard Medium Envelope! In the photo below you can see the construction from the top of the cards.
One note to remember when you make this card - the DSP you choose for the center Tower, you will see the INSIDE, not the OUTSIDE - so choose your favorite design to be on the inside of the tower. :-)
