Our card challenge for June was to use stencils. Are you like me.... love to have all the tools but then forget to use some of them? This card and envelope were made using the Butterflies and Flowers Layering Decorative Masks (from the Jan-June 2022 Mini).
The butterfly was 'blended' using Parakeet Party & Starry Sky inks with the Blending Brush. It's a fun way to get variation of color. I used just Parakeet Party on the flap of the envelope, making some areas darker than others.
The pink background was done with another stencil (or mask) from the same set and I spritzed ink on with my spritzer. This makes a less precise design, which is nice in the background.
The last bit I want to draw your attention to is the enamel dots. These are so much fun! If you look on page 59 of the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog you will see the Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics. These come in 3 Bottle (Red, White, Black) and you can customize the size of your dots by how much you apply. They dry quicker than you would expect. So much fun to use.
