This happy little card was for my niece's birthday. I have been on a Z-Fold kick lately, such a simple fun fold to add a little movement to your cards. This card features the Hey Chick Stamp set and the Chick Dies - a special offer going on now, see flyer below.
As a "chicken mama" this set is a lot of fun for me - and the matching dies. How cute is that hen house die! I love it.
There are actually TWO Bundles - both are available only through June 30, 2021. You may recognize the Hey Chick Stamp Set - it is back by popular demand from 2017 :-D Here is a snap shot of the flyer, and a printable pdf if you like.
Printable PDF for you:
For the details on my card, I used a card base of Crumb Cake and after scoring my Z-Fold lines (in half at 4 1/2 and in half again on the front panel at 2 1/4) I covered the panels with one of the pretty selections in the Paper Blooms DSP from Sale A Bration. A Simply Scored Tool and a Bone Folder make this part easy.
My focal point panel is Seaside Spray on Sahara Sand. That way the little chicken seed die would look like seeds on the ground. My hen house and sign are dies cut from Rococo Rose cardstock. My rockin chick is colored in with Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends with a bit of Linen Thread tied around the sign.
This is what the card looks like open. I was able to tuck a gift card behind the main panel. I used another Sale A Bration item, the Aged To Perfection stamp set on the inside.
And here you can see what a Z-Fold looks like from the top, and how the front panel covers up the inside panel.
